Happy Löw Day/Joachim Löw at SC Freiburg v Bayer Leverkusen 2017/18

And there was me thinking I wouldn’t be posting anything today. Not because I forgot what day it was, I wouldn’t do that. I might be more preoccupied with handball and Christian Prokop’s future right now but I wouldn’t forget today. It’s Löw day but for once I didn’t have anything planned. Ideally I would have liked to post a newly made video or a story but that’s just not happening right now, creativity of the positive kind is in short supply. Still at least Freiburg didn’t lose on Jogi’s birthday, that would have been horrible. They didn’t win either – drawing 0-0, but considering they got hammered last time they played Leverkusen I can live with the draw. More importantly not losing means they keep their unbeaten streak going, extending it to nine games. If they avoid defeat next week against Hannover, it’ll be ten. And to make the day even more perfect Alexander Schwolow is back in goal for Freiburg after missing last week’s game due to injury.
