What makes a teacher great?

A great teacher is one who is able and willing to admit they are wrong. One who acknowledges that a different way of doing things is not wrong just because they hadn’t thought of it being done that way, who tries to include everyone in what is going on and who has the ability to create a life long enthusiasm for their subject.

A truly great teacher is one who doesn’t give up on people who have been deemed unteachable by others, one who takes the time to explain things over and over again, no matter how many times they need to do it. One who instead of merely trying to make you fit into their way of doing things, tries to see things from your point of view and to understand how you operate.
