Me Time

Me Time

What’s your ideal Saturday morning? Are you doing those things this morning? Why not?

Getting up a decent hour to start with, not just before lunch time as I did today, I’m still up in time for the game true but now I can’t have the quiet morning reading I wanted. Getting up in good time is not just important for the game, if I get up early enough I’m able to make the most of the few hours I have the place to myself. Get up late and it’s likely that I’ll be having breakfast just as they are getting back.

I’m not doing what I wanted because I stayed up too late last night, I should have gone to bed the minute I started feeling tired, I didn’t instead putting it off, partly so I could watch the Friday night game and to be honest I shouldn’t have bothered. Bayern beat Cologne 4-1, the only real excitement in the game was Cologne’s goal just before half time but you would have to be delusional to believe that they would get the better of the might of Bayern at home, even though their away form is not too bad.

In an ideal world I suppose my ideal Saturday morning would be waking up knowing that I’m actually going to Freiburg’s game or at the least watching it on German TV in Germany.
