The Wall of Löw

Today’s daily prompt asks what do you display on the walls of your home. Well I only have my bedroom, not the whole house though now I come to think of it, that’s probably not such a bad thing, I can only imagine how much time and resources I would waste on covering the walls with items related to whatever my special interest is. If I think my photo habit is expensive now, I’ll certainly find it even more so should I ever get another couple of rooms at my disposal.

As the title suggest, I display on my walls mostly special interest related stuff. In this case it’s pictures of Jogi Löw and Hansi Flick, not just pictures but signed pictures and autograph cards. And posters of course, two of Jogi and four Die Mannschaft related ones.

I also have some film posters, two of The Lives of Others (the German and the UK version), one of Inglourious Basterds, a giant one of Amen and also one for Merry Christmas.

I also have a poster of Thomas Müller I got from an issue of aktuell and another that’s a poster for the Chile friendly that was played in Stuttgart (it has Mesut Özil, Marco Reus and Phillipp Lahm on it).  And not forgetting my poster of Roman Weidenfeller and my giant poster of Manuel Neuer, plus my calendars including the one I made myself.

What mood am I trying to create? I don’t know, I never really thought about it. It just happens every time I get a new special interest, the old stuff comes down and goes into storage and the new stuff goes up. It’s strange really, I don’t like putting up pictures of family and friends, in fact I don’t really like pictures at all. But I like having pictures of my favourite people on the wall. I just like collections I guess.

Anyway, some pictures:
